Phases of care

Within Chiropractic there are several types of care available. You will be recommended the one that best suits your clinical results and your desired outcomes.  Below is a brief description of these types of care and how they fit into achieving health and well-being.

1.Wellness Care

This is where we all should aim to be. You have been receiving chiropractic care regularly for a long time and as a result your nervous system is functioning close to it’s full potential.

Wellness care is designed to enhance your health, healing and exuberance for life by minimising the effects of subluxation and maximising the innate ability of the nervous system.

2.Reconstructive/Rehabilitative Care

If you have completed a period of initial intensive care or have come here to restore function and vitality to you body and nervous system, you will be in this phase of care.

Reconstructive care is designed to breakdown long entrenched harmful postures, habits and body patterns. These lead to subluxation of the spine and nervous system that limit your body’s innate ability to heal.

3.Initial Intensive Care

If you have come here with a specific problem then this is where your care will begin. Initial Intensive Care is an intense course of care that is designed to stabilise your spine and to improve the function of the spine and nervous system. During this phase of care many symptomatic problems will begin to heal.
